A client in the pulp and paper industry in Brazil and Latin America is frequently targeted by activist groups. They also face significant challenges from their hybrid IT architecture and outdated legacy Operational Technology (OT) in industrial plants. We implemented a comprehensive range of cybersecurity solutions, mitigating risks and streamlining operations. As a result, Cipher became the client's largest and most trusted cybersecurity provider.

The challenge
A client in the pulp and paper industry in LatAm was frequently target by activism. They also faced the challenge of hybrid IT architecture - both on premise and cloud based - along with legacy OT in their industrial plants.
The solution
We applied a range of solutions: SOC, CSIRT, and Threat Intel. We also used SEIM as a service (ArcSight) and SecTools (PA Cortex and Prisma). As a result, we achieved a long-term relationship for both service delivery and product resale.

Cipher is now by far the client's largest cyber provider and has beaten competition trying to displace us in this client multiple times. Hidden pentests carried out by third parties have also been successfully detected and responded to by SOC and CSIRT.
