Getting Started with CipherPhase One StepsAs soon as you need product development or engineering services, a Cipher Systems Business Development Manager will work with you to help you determine if we are a good match for your project. Our typical process for engaging with you on a new project involves the following four steps: Step 1: InquiryIn the initial discussion between you and our Business Development Manager, we will match our skills and capabilities to your project needs to see if we might be a good fit. Afterwards, we will establish a non-disclosure agreement to facilitate the exchange of further information. Step 2: DiscoveryIn a detailed discussion between your team and our team, we will get an in-depth understanding of your project needs and you will get a firm understanding of our specific technical capabilities for the needs of your project. Typically this discussion involves appropriate members of your team, our Business Development Manager, our engineers, and a Cipher Systems Project Manager. Step 3: Proposal / Statement of WorkBased on the information we receive in Discovery, we may mutually agree to create a detailed project proposal or Statement of Work (SOW) for your project. This Statement of Work will define the project scope, activities, deliverables, schedule, costs, and proposed business terms. We will work closely with you to create and refine a Statement of Work that will satisfy your needs. Step 4: Project KickoffOnce we reach an agreement on the Statement of Work, Cipher Systems will then assemble the staff and resources needed to start the project. Typical projects include a kickoff meeting with members of your team and members of the Cipher Systems project team. If you have a project need that you would like to discuss with Cipher, please contact us to begin discussions.
